We all have our 1st space (home) and 2nd space (work), but what about a 3rd space - a place to reset, recharge, and connect? That’s where your The Exercise Room comes in! It’s more than just a place to train; it’s a space to find balance, challenge yourself, and build friendships.
Join Us for Our Monthly BBQ
Come mix and mingle with your gym community at our BBQ on the last Thursday of every month. It’s a great chance to meet fellow members, enjoy some good food, and celebrate the energy that makes ER special.
NEW for March - Run Club! (FREE for members!)
We’re adding even more value this month with our Run Club-a free, optional session for members looking to boost their fitness in a fun, social setting. Whether you are a learner or rebooting or take your running to the next level, our run club is for you. Every run has the perfect run for you - Every Thursday 5:30 PM.
Train with Purpose!
In March, we’re all about getting focused and training for upcoming events! With our Hyrox group fitness classes just around the corner and the Run Club already up and running, there’s plenty of energy and excitement in the air. The sense of camaraderie makes it even more motivating, and we can't wait to see all the progress we will make together! Let's stay committed, keep training hard, and enjoy the journey to achieving our goals!
Meet Our New Staff Members!
We’re excited to introduce two fantastic additions to our team! Both Laura and Ella bring a wealth of experience and passion to help you get the most out of your fitness journey.
Laura Dodds - Office & General Manager
Laura is here to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, allowing our trainers and coaches to focus on delivering the best Exercise Room experience. With a Diploma in Business, a wide range of professional development courses, and over 10 years of office management experience, Laura brings expertise in operations, marketing, social media, bookkeeping, and business process improvement. As a fitness enthusiast herself, Laura believes in balancing work and well-being making her a perfect fit for our team.
Ella Dale - Exercise Scientist
Ella joins us with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals through movement and evidence-based fitness principles. With a Bachelor of Science in Applied Exercise Science, a Diploma in Contemporary Dance, and Pilates Reformer Training, Ella brings a unique perspective on strength, mobility, and movement. Combining her Pilates training with science-backed fitness techniques, she creates personalized programs to help clients gain confidence and reach their full potential.

Member of the Month: Maia
This month, we’re celebrating Maia for her dedication and incredible progress! Maia has been training hard with us to work towards achieving her goal of walking 8.4kms in Round The Bays an amazing step up from her previous 6km box ticked. We love her can-do attitude and have been inspired watching her fitness, mobility, and inner confidence grow.
